It was the 86th minute and it was 2-2, the hopes of the nation depended on this game to get them into the history books .As the Chairman of the team prayed in anticipation the players walked onto the pitch…But wait! There a new player a young player as nervous as anybody on the pitch or on the stadium, there he stood taking the place of the nation’s best hope. The Fans screamed at the calm manager as he stood at the end of the pitch knowing what he had to do. The score settled 2-2 and extra time smiled over the stadium, smirking and laughing at the players.
Then…PEEP! The match had kicked off again the opponents passed the ball around, cool as a cucumber, the defence stood tall the midfield created chances and the strike did what they did best. Until …
GGGOOOOOAAALLL!
The Fans went wild on one side the other went as silent as a deserted island wondering what had gone wrong, The score changed 3-2 then PEEP! The half was over
The dressing room on one side was happy, the other not so happy. The next half kicked off the next half was never the same again after that young player stepped onto the pitch again…
